The Australia-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – Novotech
Novotech is internationally recognized as a leading regional full-service contract research organization (CRO) in Asia-Pacific. Over the last 12 months, Novotech has continued to make strong investments in its team in Taiwan, to provide high quality clinical research support to local and foreign biotechs and small and medium biopharmaceuticals in the region. Recently they have expanded their local team to over 150 staff and assisted Taiwan conduct over 500 clinical trials.
The Australia-Taiwan Business Partnership Award – Bonnie House
Bonnie House Co., Ltd has been operating in Australia and Taiwan for over 17 years selling organic and Australian essential oils and the business has grown over 30 fold to a multimillion dollar business. Director Yoyo is a great example of a great female entrepreneur with a passion for CSR and during COVID pandemic Bonnie House has also very generously been supporting medical health care workers, recently they also collaborated with the Australian Office to donate products to Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in New Taipei City.
The Queensland-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – Department of Education, Taipei City Government
The Taipei City Government, Department of Education has played a leading role in the nation’s Bilingual 2030 goal which improves Taiwan’s future global competitiveness. Over the past two years they have partnered with the University of Queensland, the Queensland Education Department and Study Gold Coast to deliver online training to hundreds of Taiwanese teachers and students.

The New Zealand-Taiwan Business Excellence Award – Alpine Deer
Alpine Deer is a renowned New Zealand Health and Wellbeing company and innovator, established 60 years ago by Founder Sir Timothy Wallis. They have a range of deer products including venison, frozen / whole dried /powdered / deer velvet. Taiwan is a significant market for Alpine Deer, importing significant tonnage of deer co-products to Taiwan. They have done this in conjunction with their Taiwanese partners - to create the market by growing the awareness, grow the market and service a growing demand.
The New Zealand-Taiwan Business Partnership Award – HealthTake Corporation
HealthTake has grown its business and established itself as one of Taiwan’s largest functional and organic ingredients suppliers. They are also an ODM and PEM solution provider for branded health supplement companies in Taiwan.
From 2020, co-working with a famous Taiwan media partner, HealthTake focused on NZ deer co-products, manufacturing and promotion. Primarily due to the effort and dedication of HealthTake in a relatively short period of time, Taiwan is now the biggest New Zealand deer placenta importer in 2021.
