2022 The Journey Into Space
The commercialisation of space is seeing activity move from the government to the private sector. Many private companies have been established to compete in satellite and rocket services. Currently, there are 39 companies in eleven countries that have scheduled their rockets for their maiden flights this year. Taiwan is an important player in the aerospace supply chain. It is a leader in key technologies in ICT, chemicals, and precision manufacturing. Currently, Taiwan has more than 90 companies developing and supplying the space industry. With strong government support and uncrowded skies, Australia and New Zealand offer the ideal locations and infrastructure for rocket launching. Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan are natural partners that complement each other in developing space technology. This event will provide insights into the space industry covering launch vehicles, applications, and space industry across Taiwan and Australia. Participants at the event will be able to meet key stakeholders in TiSpace/ATSpace and hear from its founder live from Australia.
